Supporting Lives, Raising Awareness

Empowering the Stoma Community in KZN

Ostomate KZN is a non-profit organization founded by Ms. Thobile Zondi, who is an Ostomate since 1994 and has permanent stoma. Established in January 2024, the organization focuses on empowering individuals living with stoma in KwaZulu-Natal. Ostomate KZN aims to raise awareness, provide education, and offer support to help individuals navigate the physical and emotional challenges of living with a stoma.

Our services include hospital outreach, awareness workshops to educate the community, stoma support groups for sharing experiences, and trauma counseling to help individuals cope with emotional challenges. Through these programs, Ostomate KZN works to create a supportive network, ensuring that no one feels alone in their journey with stoma.
